Dr. Christopher Kong

Dr. Christopher Kong is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in minimally invasive techniques, robotic-assisted procedures, artificial disc replacement, and spinal deformity correction. He focuses on restoring mobility and function through personalized, evidence-based surgical care.

Dr. Christopher Kong pursued a career in spine surgery to help patients regain their quality of life through advanced, motion-preserving solutions. He was drawn to orthopaedic spine surgery because of the tangible, transformative outcomes it offers, especially in cases involving trauma or spinal deformity. His philosophy centers on providing personalized, minimally invasive care using the latest in robotic-assisted techniques and technology to achieve the best outcomes for every patient.

Dr. Kong completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of British Columbia, where he developed a deep interest in treating complex spinal pathology. He went on to complete two prestigious spine fellowships, first at Oregon Health & Science University and then at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he trained in robotic navigation, artificial disc replacement, and deformity correction. Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Kong is committed to clinical excellence and cutting-edge research, having presented at national conferences and authored multiple peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Kong currently practices at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles, California.
