Dr. Natarajan is double board-certified in Neurological Surgery and Neurointerventional Surgery. He previously led the Open Vascular & Endovascular Neurosurgery Program and the Brain Tumor, Skull Base & Cranial Microsurgery Program at the University of Massachusetts in Boston. He is now based in Southern California as the Founder and CEO of the Brain, Spine & Vascular Neuroscience Institute (BSV Neuro), where he provides advanced care for conditions such as brain aneurysms, vascular malformations, glioblastomas, pituitary tumors, and Chiari malformations.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Natarajan is a prolific researcher and educator with over 100 peer-reviewed publications and more than 30 textbook chapters. He sees patients throughout San Diego, including in La Mesa, Chula Vista, and Escondido, and is affiliated with Sharp Grossmont Hospital, Sharp Memorial Hospital, and Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center. His work continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in neurosurgery, with a commitment to both technical excellence and compassionate care.
